Michael Hutchence's mum dies

Patricia Glassop, the mother of Michael Hutchence, has passed away at the age of 84.

A notice at Michael’s website reads "Sadly yesterday my 84 year old mother Patricia passed on. She looked beautiful, and I was happy to have been there for her. Thank you for all your kind words and wishes. Sincerely, Rhett Hutchence".

Michael’s father Kelland Hutchence died in December, 2009.

The sad news of the passing of Patricia Glassop comes on the same day members of INXS are battling it out in court again.

Michael’s private company, Chardonnay Investments, is suing INXS for unpaid royalties and demanding that the business of the band be wound up.

The main beneficiary of Chardonnay Investments in Michael’s daughter Tiger-Lily Hutchence.
