Award winning British pop band Scouting For Girls will play in the nets with the England cricket team upfront of their Ashes tournament in Australia this year.

On Thursday 23rd September Scouting For Girls will play in the nets with some of the best cricketers in the world, at The 'Home of Cricket ', Lord's. The band are huge cricket fans and are passionate about encouraging the next generation of great cricket players.

Roy Stride, lead singer of Scouting For Girls has said:

"We are honoured to play the England team at Lord's - It is the stuff that childhood dreams are made of. We love every level of cricket, it's a fantastic sport that anyone can play, and we would encourage anyone to get involved. We've loved the game since we started playing at school, since then we've done much more spectating than playing so we look forward to humiliating ourselves in front of the best bowlers in the world!"

Their new single 'Don't Want To Leave You' will be released on 11th October.
