Ted Nugent fined for violating hunting laws

Ted Nugent, the man everyone loves to hate publicly but can’t deny The Amboy Dukes were an awesome band, has been fined for violating hunting laws.

The 61 year old singer has been slapped with a $US1,750 ($AU1950) fine for failing to get a “deer tag” signed by a government official after a kill and illegally baiting a deer.

The Nuge pleaded no contest to both misdemeanors. He was busted by California Game Wardens after the singer’s TV show ‘Spirit Of The Wild’ showed footage of him committing the crimes.

“We looked at it and we just shook our heads, saying 'I can't believe he actually aired this episode,'" Department of Fish and Game spokesman Patrick Foy told The Sacramento Bee. “We were all really disappointed to see this happen with a guy who is a representative of hunters.”
