Zendaya would love to team up with Taylor Swift in the future.

The Disney Channel actress and singer sparked rumours of a collaboration with Shake it Off star Taylor when she was seen on the set of the singer’s Bad Blood video.

However, Zendaya has admitted that while she has yet to record anything with Taylor, she would be thrilled to have the chance to later on in life.

“I would love to do that, but I have not," Zendaya told Entertainment Tonight. “She's the bomb-diggity. Who doesn't love Tay-Tay?"

Taylor isn’t the only female singer Zendaya looks up to. In fact, there is one star she is looking forward to meeting in particular at the upcoming Radio Disney Music Awards – Jennifer Lopez.

The singer is to be honoured with the Hero Award at the ceremony, and Zendaya thinks the prize is much deserved by Jennifer.

“Everyone loves J. Lo. Why? Because she's talented. I never met her, but she seems super genuine and sweet," she said.

"She's one of those people who [has] had such a long career, but she has family and she just seems happy and good in her skin. I think that she really portrays like women-power, so I'm really excited to see her."

Zendaya is set to release the follow-up record to her 2013 self-titled album, and thinks fans will be pleased with the results.

Now she’s 18, Zendaya feels her new-found maturity is reflected in her music.

"The first time around you learn and you kind of figure out what you do like, what you don't like, and you almost accept some things because you're like, 'Okay, it's fine,' but this time there's no, 'Okay, fine,'" she said.

"I want everything to… blow people's minds, and just be like, 'Oh my God, what just happened to me?!' That's the goal - to make everyone like, "Whaaat?!' but in a good way.”
