Wiz Khalifa bags fastest selling single of 2015

Wiz Khalifa has landed the fastest-selling single of 2015 so far with ‘See You Again feat. Charlie Puth’! The song features on the soundtrack to Fast & Furious 7 and pays tribute to cast member Paul Walker, who passed away during the filming of the blockbuster in November 2013. The track, which features newcomer Charlie Puth, climbed 21 places last week with combined chart sales of 193,000, overtaking previous fastest-seller ‘Love Me Like You Do’ by Ellie Goulding (172,000 chart sales). The song marks Khalifa’s second UK Official #1 after reaching the summit back in 2012 guesting on Maroon 5’s ‘Payphone’.

‘See You Again’ also sets a new streaming record, racking up a total of 3.68 million streams in seven days - the figure exceeds past Goulding’s ‘Love Me Like You Do’, which previously held the record with 2.58 million streams.
