White Lies have announced details of the release of the first single from their forthcoming new album.
There Goes Our Love Again will be released by Fiction Records on Monday August 5th 2013. The single, also featuring Hostage and Torn remixes of the track, will be released on 10” vinyl and download.
Recorded in early 2013 as part of their album sessions at the ICP studios in Brussels, Belgium, There Goes Our Love Again was produced by Ed Buller and mixed by Mark ‘Spike’ Stent. Their third album, BIG TV is released on Monday 12th August 2013.
Additionally, they play 3 special shows at London’s Hoxton Bar & Kitchen in July. The shows will take place on July 23rd, 24th & 25th.
These 3 intimate shows, which went on sale in early June and attracted 10,000 ticket applications, mark a return to the 300 capacity venue where the band played their first London show on February 27th 2008. The band last played London in December 2011 when they headlined a sold-out show at Wembley Arena.
The first new music from the album, Getting Even, was made available as a free download via the band’s site, www.whitelies.com, in early June hitting the number 1 slot on the Spotify Viral Chart.
