Kanye West’s ex-girlfriend is convinced he will be an “amazing” dad.
Victoria’s Secret model Selita Ebanks reportedly dated the rapper back in 2010.
While his other ex-girlfriend, glamour model Amber Rose, has trashed Kanye in the press, Selita has nothing but good things to say.
Selita spoke to Fox News during New York Fashion Week about Kanye’s announcement in December that his girlfriend Kim Kardashian is pregnant.
“I think Kanye is going to be an amazing father. I think he will be really good at it,” she insisted.
Selita added she’s sure the new addition will be welcomed with lots of love into the Kardashian-West family.
“Their family is huge!” she said of Kim’s notoriously tight-knit reality TV family.
And Selita’s sure the little boy or girl will develop quite the fashion sense at an early age.
Mother-to-be Kim is known for stepping out in over-the-top designer ensembles for the most mundane affairs and Kanye often wins headlines for his eccentric stage style.
Selita thinks the pair have great sartorial taste.
“[He or she] is going to be one of the best dressed kids in the world,” the model gushed.
The remarks is a marked departure from the sour reports Amber gave of her relationship with Kanye after the couple split shortly before he began dating Kim.
She accused the reality star of coming between them.
“Kim is one of the main reasons why me and Kanye are not together. She’s a homewrecker!” Amber told America’s Star magazine last year.
Amber has moved on and is expecting her first child with rapper Wiz Khalifa.
Kim is expected to deliver her and Kanye’s baby in July.
The rapper announced the news at a concert in Atlantic City, New Jersey while Kim was in the crowd.
The 35-year-old star told the 5,000 concertgoers to "stop the music and make noise for my baby mama," and said her pregnancy was the “most amazing thing”.
Kim later confirmed the news in a statement on her official blog.
