Velvet Revolver have patched up issues with singer Scott Weiland and will reunite for one show only on January 12, 2012.

The occasion is the benefit gig 'Love You Madly' A Concert for John O'Brien.

Velvet Revolver will be back with Scott, Slash, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum at the House of Blues in West Hollywood.

The show will also feature Maroon 5, Sheryl Crow, Tom Morello, Fishbone, The Forest Rangers, Chantal Kreviazuk and a special guest appearance from CSN legend Stephen Stills.

This will be the first Velvet Revolver gig since the bitter break-up of 2008.

John O'Brien is the award winning movie composer who worked on Iron Man 1 and 2 and Pineapple Express. He was found dead in Chicago on August 20, 2011 at age 45.
