Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z will kick off a 12-city US/Canada tour this summer.

The pair recently collaborated on Justin’s new single Suit & Tie and performed the hit at the Grammy Awards earlier this month.

Justin confirmed after the performance the musicians were planning to take their work relationship one step further and hit the road.

“We’re definitely going to go on tour… I don’t know how much I should say... It’s going to be a lot of fun, I know that," he teased fans on Twitter.

The pair confirmed on Friday plans for a 12-city US/Canada stadium tour are underway.

The Legends of Summer tour will kick off on July 17 in Toronto, Ontario and wrap on August 16 in Miami, Florida.

Other cities that will host the pair include New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Hershey, Detroit, Baltimore, Boston and Philadelphia.

Tickets will go on sale on February 28. Fans can also visit the Legends of Summer Facebook page to RSVP for pre-sale tickets available on February 27.

VIP packages will also be available.

Justin and Jay-Z were earlier this week announced as the headliners for London’s Wireless Festival.

The singer will lead the line-up on July 12 at the city’s Olympic Park while Jay-Z will lead acts on July 13. The pair are expected to share the stage for at least one performance of Suit & Tie. The shows will mark Jay-Z’s only performance in Europe scheduled for 2013 and Justin’s only UK show for the summer.

Justin is meanwhile preparing for the release of his third solo album.

The 20/20 Experience is scheduled to hit shelves next month.

In addition to Suit & Tie, the singer has released an eight-minute track entitled Mirrors.

He has also teased fans with live performances of forthcoming singles Pusher Love Girl and That Girl.
