The Wanted happily posed for photographs at Romeo Beckham’s birthday party.
Victoria Beckham arranged for the British boy band to appear at a bash to mark her son turning ten. The group – comprising Tom Parker, Max George, Nathan Sykes, Siva Kaneswaran and Jay McGuiness – were more than willing to meet the young guests.
“The lads are in the States anyway preparing for the MTV VMAS on Thursday and were happy to pop over,” an insider told British newspaper The Sun.
“They met all Romeo’s pals and posed for snaps. It’s the easiest gig they’ve ever had.”
It’s not known how long the group stayed for, or if they sang any of their hit tunes.
Victoria used Twitter to thank the five-piece for making the day extra special, with Siva replying it was just as fun for them.
Victoria and her husband David have a firm friendship with the group. They taught her eldest son Brooklyn to play guitar and have also used the family’s box to watch David play for his soccer team LA Galaxy.
“I have a soft spot for The Wanted — they’re a great British export and such nice guys,” Victoria recently said.
