The Vaccines have announced details of the release of a new double A-sided single. Wetsuit / Tiger Blood will be released on December 4th through Columbia Records.

To be released on 7' and as a download, Tiger Blood was recorded with The Strokes' Albert Hammond Jr at his upstate New York studio during a gap in touring this summer.

The single is the latest to be taken from their debut album, What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?, which was released in March of this year and was recently certified gold in the U.K. having now sold just over 200,000 copies.

The single is accompanied by a video featuring clips and images filmed by fans at Vaccines shows over the summer and submitted to and collated by Instagram. With contributions from fans from over 30 countries the video can be viewed here:

Arguably the band of the summer, the last few months have seen them pack out tents at most of the major U.K. festivals.

Ecstatic performances at both T in the Park and Latitude were followed by a triumphant Reading appearance where they played late-afternoon to over 20,000 people in the Radio 1 tent and were hailed as number 1 band of the festival by the NME.

Earlier this year the band played a sold-out show at London's Forum and the vast majority of their forthcoming headline tour is now sold out. Before heading out on their own they are due to support the Arctic Monkey's on their arena tour in October.
Support on their November / December headline tour will be provided by Frankie & The Heartstrings and Howler.
