The Rolling Stones 'Satisfaction' cut by O2 curfew

The Rolling Stones dropped ‘Satisfaction’ from their London set yesterday because they ran past curfew.

The first London show for the ’50 and Counting’ anniversary gigs started late and due to London’s strict sound rules meant the band had to cut short its set.

According to a setlist posted on rollingstones.com yesterday, the 60s classic ‘Lady Jane’ was meant to be played after ‘Wild Horses’ and before ‘All Down The Line’ but was dropped at the last minute to make up time.

Fans at the show were surprised when the show ended on ‘Jumping Jack Flash’ instead of The Stones signature closer ‘(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction’.

However, a busker at a nearby railway station was heard playing ‘Satisfaction’ after the show for the delight of the departing fans.
