Produced by guitarist Dan Hawkins, The Darkness return with their eagerly anticipated new album 'Last Of Our Kind'. Front man Justin Hawkins says of the record "Last Of Our Kind is a collection of 10 magnificent songs that The Darkness are extremely proud of. It is the best rock album you will hear this year. Talking to Classic Rock, he described the sound as stripped back with the medieval age and mythical themes providing lyrical content. The Darkness will spend the summer months honing their craft with a sold-out launch show at Dingwalls and festival dates including Newquay's Boardmasters Festival and Groove Festival in Wicklow, Ireland.
The Darkness' UK tour 'Blast of Our Kind' commences at Open, Norwich on 30th November and ends at London's Roundhouse on 20th December.
