Taylor Swift is reportedly a "sucker" for Calvin Harris' accent.
The blonde popstar and Scottish DJ have triggered dating rumours after stepping out several times together, most recently at a Haim gig at West Hollywood's Troubadour last week.
It wouldn't be the first time each have embarked on a high-profile relationship, with Calvin splitting from ex Rita Ora last year and Taylor previously dating the likes of Harry Styles and John Mayer. But things appear to be different for both this time round.
"Taylor's going for it. She's been off the dating scene for so long, she's gone 'Calvin crazy' since they started seeing each other," an insider told British magazine Look.
"Taylor was wary of stepping on his ex Rita Ora's toes, but she's a sucker for his Scottish accent, and after Vegas [where Taylor visited during his DJ set] she started taking him more seriously."
Another pal added that the pair talk all the time, about everything from music and cooking, especially her baking and his "bangers and mash".
Taylor apparently resisted his advances at first after Calvin seemingly dismissed the prospect of dating her last year when he revealed he'd swipe left for her on dating app Tinder, which means no.
However it seems the 25-year-old beauty has let her guard down now and is even calling Calvin her boyfriend.
"She's always enjoyed the company that comes with having a man by her side. And while she's actually really enjoyed having a break from men since Harry Styles she's 'really happy with Calvin,'" a source added.
Things are going so well that Taylor is said to have invited her new beau to meet her family at home in Nashville, where he reportedly brought Scotch for her dad and flowers for her mother.
"[Calvin] was all about eye-to-eye contact, which Scott [Taylor's father] appreciated," the insider noted.
