Take That are teaming up with Andrew Lloyd-Webber for their new album.

Singer Gary Barlow has worked with the legendary composer before, when they wrote a song to celebrate Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee. The pair got along so well, they have decided to collaborate on further pop songs.

Gary has sent the musical theatre legend the outline for a new track. Andrew is even planning to go on holiday to Spain with Gary so they focus on creating other tunes.

“I am writing with Gary Barlow again,” he told British newspaper The Sun. "I’ve come up with the tune this time and he’s already emailed me with lyrics this morning. It hasn’t got a title yet.

“Gary’s going to be down in Majorca this summer and so will I, so we’ll get together and something will come out of it.”

Although the pair had planned to pen tracks for other artists, Andrew believes the songs will now appear on Take That’s next record.

Andrew is renowned for creating hit musicals including The Phantom of the Opera, Evita and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
