After two years of touring with the Police and a year of playing with an orchestra, Sting took his music back to the basics in October 2011 with a five-piece band on the Back to Bass Tour.
The trek continued through 2012 and is now scheduled to continue into 2013 with the announcement of dates in Canada, the United States, Ireland, France, Denmark and Norway. Additional dates are expected to be announced soon.
Sting will be joined by his long time guitarist Dominic Miller , Vinnie Colaiuta (drums), David Sancious (keyboards) Peter Tickell (electric fiddle), and Jo Lawry (vocals).
Tickets for the Norway date go on sale this Thursday with France and Denmark on Friday and Ireland on January 31. North American dates will be available starting Thursday (Oswiecim, PL) and running through April.
