Steve Miller Band has announced they will kick off their first European tour run in 25 years beginning on the 7th October in London, for their first show ever at Royal Albert Hall. The tour includes eight dates with stops in Belgium, Italy, France, Germany, and winds down 18 October in Holland.
Demon Music Group will reissue the Steve Miller Band’s classic 1976 album “Fly Like An Eagle” as a special collector’s edition CD/DVD set on 4th October 2010.
The “Fly Like An Eagle” Collector’s Edition set will feature all 12 original album tracks, three bonus demo recordings, and a two hour live concert DVD filmed at Shoreline Amphitheater in 2005 featuring all Steve’s best-known songs, with special guests, guitar legends George Thorogood and Joe Satriani.
The bonus feature is the 5.1 audio mix of the original album.
In addition, Demon Music Group has announced they will reissue seven remastered classic Steve Miller Band albums on 27 September. The digital reissues will include the original track listings and original cover artwork.
