In celebration of The BRITs and its 15th year as partner of The Awards, MasterCard is teaming up with some of the UK’s hottest recording artists to give music fans the chance to remake one of their favourite music videos and feature in The BRIT Awards 2013 TV advertising breaks.
Three artists tipped for success at The BRITs - Rita Ora, Conor Maynard and Delilah - are looking for ‘RitaBots’, ‘Mayniacs’ and devoted Delilah fans to star as them in a Priceless Remake of one of their videos. Fans will get to shoot it, sing it and be their favourite artist for the day, as well as meeting their idols at The BRIT Awards on the 20th of February.
Fans will get exclusive, star treatment, as each Priceless Remake will be shot on set with a full crew, including wardrobe, hair, make-up and professional dancers.
What’s more, the three winners will be directed by award winning music video director, Emil Nava who worked with Rita Ora on her videos for chart topping hits ‘RIP’ and ‘Shine Ya Light’ and Delilah on the steamy ‘Love You So’. Fans will wear the same clothes, pull the same moves and at the end of the day, take home a full-length music video, featuring them as the star.
To top off this unbelievable prize, all three Priceless Remakes will appear in The BRIT Awards 2013 TV advertising breaks, which will be broadcast on Wednesday 20th February on ITV1. However, the lucky winners won’t be watching at home – they will be at the glittering BRIT Awards ceremony with three of their friends, mingling with the stars of the show!
How to enter
Entering is easy. Fans need to register at www.somethingforthefans.co.uk and upload a short video clip of them performing one of their selected artists songs and nominate three friends who they would take to The BRITs with them. You don’t need to be a great singer to win, the judging panel including the artists, are looking for passion, originality and creativity.
