Britney Spears thinks Gwen Stefani is “very cool and sexy”.
The 32-year-old singer turned lingerie designer launched her first underwear and sleepwear collection, Intimate Britney Spears, earlier this month. And it appears the pop star has some ideas on who she’d like to see model the items.
“I’d love to see Gwen Stefani modelling my collection,” she told the British newspaper The Mirror at the London launch for the collection."I think she’s very cool and sexy.”
Apparently, Britney also intends on sharing her lingerie with the Duchess of Cambridge.
“I would love to see Kate [Middleton] in my underwear designs,” the Toxic hitmaker shared with The Mirror. "That would be splendid. I’m going to send her one of every piece. So she’ll have plenty to choose from.”
Britney is especially proud of her “cherry red” set.
“It stands out and it’s very elaborate and it’s pretty promiscuous,” she explained.
For the singer, the launch was the culmination of years of dreaming and designing.
"This is something I have been wanting to do for ten years now," she previously told Popsugar. "I've been to Europe and I went to London and I saw the most amazing lingerie store. I was like 'I have to do something like this!' So the last two years I have been putting this together and coming up with the materials and all the details for it and the colours are just really muted and soft and it's very vintage and pretty."
The collection is divided into ten different themed lines, named after different flowers, and a number of the pieces were inspired by her music shoots.
"I did a video called Everytime and a lot of the things in the video are very similar to the line," she told Popsugar.
