Sex Pistols perfume to be released

It seems that the Sex Pistols are set to release their own perfume.
The scent is made by Etat Libre D'Orange and will offer the wearer "the spirit of punk in a bottle", say the creators.
The press release continues: "To wear this scent, you must resist tradition, fight conformity, and disregard aromatic conventions. In the spirit of punk, you must be willing to express yourself with abandon. You take risks and you wouldn't be adverse to creating a little mayhem."
The perfume is due to arrive in the UK soon.
The next step in the Sex Pistol's quest for cleanliness is soap, with the band set to release bars of 'Never Mind the Bollocks' branded soap, and a second perfume, next year.

Are you freakin' kidding me?! Good God! I wonder what the "Bromley Contingent" thinks about this. What sell outs! Punk perfume and soap. What does DIY/Defiance smell like? I guess something between a Friday night at The Roxy/CBGBs in 1977. As an American, I thnk I'm using this word the right way (Brits correct me, if I'm wrong): Bollocks on The Pistols! Are you shi*ing me?! This is all the more reason we need Blondie (new album in November, thank God!) and Siouxsie and the Banshees (please, God!) to grace us with new poetry and music in the 21st Century. I think The Pistols reached a new low in "Punk cred". Real, Classic music -- SAVE US!!!
