Brazil's biggest metal export, Sepultura, has got a new drummer.
The band have added 20-year-old Eloy Casagrande on drums and percussion. Sepultura itself is in its 27th year.
Casagrande is a Sao Paulo native, who won the Modern Drummer Undiscovered Drummer Contest as a teenager in 2006.
He said in a statement, 'When I got the invitation to join Sepultura, I was in shock. I'm a fan of the band for years; it'll be an honor to play with them.'
Casagrande replaces Jean Dolabella, who played with the band for five years and appeared on the last two albums. Dolabella is departing to work on personal projects.
Technically, Sepultura retain no original members from their beginning in 1984, although bassist Paulo Jr. was in their first solid line-up and guitarist Andreas Kisser has been there since 1987.
Sepultura's most recent release was this year's 12th studio album Kairos.
