Scooter Braun doesn't mind picking up the pieces when Ariana Grande makes a mistake.
The American talent manager looks after the likes of Ariana, Justin Bieber and South Korean musician Psy.
Far from reacting badly when the stars under his watch slip-up, Scooter makes sure they know he'll always be on hand to help.
"If I was the parent, I'd have been there for the first 13 years. I'm picking up the pieces. [Justin's] 20. Ariana Grande, who I also manage, is 21. When they make a mistake, I have to literally look them in the eye and say, 'It doesn't matter that you pushed me away, I'm here to help you now'," Scooter revealed to Details magazine.
"I said this to two of my artists the other day, as a joke: 'Maybe it's time for me to have my own kids and stop raising other people's poorly'."
Scooter married his wife Yael Cohen in a star-studded ceremony in July, where Justin took to the stage to sing along with Carly Rae Jepsen, another of Scooter's protégés.
Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson, Sophia Bush and Ed Sheeran all enjoyed the celebration too.
Looking after so many teen idols means the mega manager has had to deal with his fair share of extreme behaviour over the years.
"It's never the kid who's over the top - it's always the parent. People do crazy, f**ked-up sh*t for their kid," he sighed.
"I've seen parents fistfight - two mothers arguing over who's in line for a meet-and-greet and a full-on brawl breaks out. I've seen moms try to sneak their kids in by hiding in a dumpster."
On the subject of Justin, who he discovered on YouTube in 2007, Scooter believes in letting him make his own errors - even if their costly for his management.
The Canadian star has had numerous run ins with the law over recent months, but he can always count on his manager for support through tough times.
"You've got to let them make the mistakes, then be there to help them when they fall," he explained.
