Rihanna is apparently worried that recent footage of her partying at Coachella could harm her budding movie career.

The Bajan singer is a regular on the party scene and let her hair down during the annual music festival, which always attracts the biggest names in entertainment.

However a video of her holding a rolled-up object went viral, with many speculating it was cocaine. Rihanna was quick to set the record straight, telling her online followers that she was "basing" a joint with a cigarette.

Rihanna recently worked with DreamWorks on kids' film Home, and sources say she is now worrying that the scandal could damage her chance of working with companies like Disney in the future.

"Rihanna is in the middle of courting a big contract to work on [some] of their movies. It would be really great for her career. The last thing she needs right now is a scandal like this. She's trying to shrug it off publicly but secretly she's really worried," a source told British magazine Grazia.

Rihanna voiced one of the main characters in Home, alongside Jim Parsons and Steve Martin. Her part was met with widespread critical acclaim, and a career in the movies seems to be on the cards for the singer.

As well as worrying about her future with Disney, the 27-year-old is also said to be upset that a friend would leak the video.

"Rihanna feels very betrayed," the insider added.

While Rihanna may be against cocaine, she is a fan of marijuana. She's never shied away from her habit, and recently celebrated the annual 420 day; where people fete their love of cannabis. She uploaded numerous shots to Instagram with the hashtag #420.
