Rihanna has promised fans her next record will be released “very soon”.

The singer opened up about her plans for the new album after a track listing of what appeared to be her new record, entitled Lost Files, was leaked.

And while she didn’t give any more details about the album, or confirm if the title is in fact correct, she did say some new material will soon be made public.

Revealing that a new album should be out “very soon”, Rihanna added in the interview with Entertainment Tonight: “That's my hope.
“I'm really excited about the music that we've been working on, so I can't wait for people to hear it."

Rihanna’s admission comes after DJ Skee of Dash Radio station revealed the singer has ten songs ready to release.

According to Skee, Rihanna stunned even her record label bosses with her speed at getting the tunes ready to be made public.

“That project is a lot closer than anyone realised, including her own record label,” DJ Skee said. “Last weekend in New York City, Rihanna took a couple Def Jam executives to a top secret location and played ten new records. So, that means she’s trying to put out a project to capitalize off the fourth quarter craziness.”

DJ Skee also revealed one of the titles is I’ve Been Searching for Something to Ignite Me.

Rihanna’s last release was Unapologetic in 2012. However, it was reported earlier this year the star was being lined up to sing the theme track for the new Bond movie, tentatively titled Bond 24.
