Richie Sambora says he and Denise Richards are “really happy” together again.
The Bon Jovi guitarist has confirmed he and the actress are dating again after calling time on their relationship four years ago.
The 52-year-old star attended Alicia Keys’ Keep a Child Alive Black Ball at the Hammerstein Ballroom last night.
“Things are good. I’m really happy,” he told the New York Post.
The star revealed he is not worried about Denise’s ex-husband Charlie Sheen.
Denise and Charlie were married for just under four years and had two daughters together.
Richie is unconcerned even though he hadn’t yet spoken to the actor about the new relationship.
“No. He’s a friend of mine. I haven’t talked to him. I’m sure it’ll be fine,” he shrugged.
Denise and Richie first got together in 2006 after both finishing relationships with their spouses. Richie had just ended his marriage with actress Heather Locklear. Heather considered Denise a good friend and was reportedly furious at her.
Richie was indifferent when asked about all the press attention his complicated relationship receives.
“I don’t give a [bleep],” he smiled.
Rumours that 40-year-old Denise and rock star Richie were back on began circling at the weekend when the pair were spotted sharing dinner at Tatsuki sushi restaurant in California.
