Stevie Wonder and Earth, Wind and Fire were the entertainers at Kim Kardashian's wedding to NBA player Kris Humphries on Saturday. Other music was supplied by DJ Cassidy.

Mickey Hart, drummer for the Grateful Dead, has formed a new group to go in a new direction. Local musicians Crystal Monee, Tim Hockenberry and Gawain Matthews are joining Hart on the road to play Dead classics mixed with new music that Mickey has developed around sounds recorded by NASA from the beginning of time and normalized for the human ear.
Hart told Rolling Stone "For the last two or three years I've been sampling light waves from the cosmos, starting 13.7 billion years ago with the Big Bang. The signals come from radio telescopes around the world and I work closely with NASA to take the light waves and bring it into our limited spectrum of hearing. Then I add a little spice to them with some reverb and some delay. It makes for a hot little stew."

Queen will receive the BMI Icon award at the music rights organization's London Awards show on October 4.
Meat Loaf: In Search of ParadiseMeat Loaf wouldn't mind dying on stage, literally. He told Piers Morgan during an interview "You know, I take the stage as if it's the last thing I'm ever going to do and that's how I perform every night... it's probably [taught me] to slow down a little bit. I go out on the stage as if it's the last thing I'll ever do. And that's what I've always said - if I'm going out, I'm going out on stage."

The Metallica/Lou Reed collaboration has a release date of October 31 in the U.K. and November 1 in the U.S.
