Geoff Tate has only officially been out of Queensryche for less than a week, but he's already moving forward with his professional career by signing a multi-album deal with InsideOut Music.

Tate "left" the band after clashing with the other members over the last couple of months along with a couple of bizarre performances. He was replaced by Todd LaTorre of Crimson Glory.

Tate said in a statement "I'm very excited to join forces with InsideOut Music. They are very committed to progressive music and care deeply for their artists, working together with them to bring music lovers worldwide some of the most compelling rock music available."

InsideOut Music is the home of Kansas and Steve Hackett along with such modern artists as King's X, Fates Warning and James LaBrie of Dream Theater.

Thomas Waber, founder of InsideOut, said "Obviously, we at the label have been fans of Geoff for a long time. We are looking forward to working with such a renowned musician -- welcome to the InsideOut Music family!"

Look for Geoff's first album on the label this fall.
