Queen Latifah to host 2014 Nobel Peace Prize concert

Billboard exclusively reports that Queen Latifah will be hosting the annual Nobel Peace Prize concert on Dec. 11 in Oslo, Norway. ​ ​

"I'm thrilled to be a part of this year's concert and to help celebrate such amazing individuals who have each worked so hard on behalf of children's rights to education," says Queen Latifah.

In its 21st year, the Nobel Peace Prize Concert is an annual musical celebration honoring each year’s Nobel laureates, broadcasted in up to 100 countries.

The 2014 Nobel Prize Concert will honor Kailash Satyarthi and Malala Yousafzai, chosen by the Norwegian Nobel Committee for "their struggle against the oppression of children and young people, and for the right of all children to education."
