John Lydon's Public Image Ltd. have announced that their tenth studio album, What the World Needs Now..., will be out on September 4.
Lydon, the sole remaining original member of PiL, is joined by Lu Edmonds, Scott Firth and Bruce Smith. The band recorded the album at Wincraft Studio, owned by Steve Winwood.
Lydon has his hands in all aspects of the album, including the cover design of both the LP and the first single, Double Trouble.
