Indie rock legends the Pixies release their long-awaited fifth full-length album, Indie Cindy on April 28, 2014 through Pixiesmusic, with a limited edition vinyl release of the record available from select independent stores as part of Record Store Day ’14 from April 19.
For those who can’t wait to hear Indie Cindy in its complete cover-to-cover form, the band have teamed up with Richer Sounds (an official partner of RSD ’14) to offer exclusive early playbacks of the album on vinyl.
By heading in-store to do so, you could also win two Pixes goody bags, as well as a pair of tickets to see the band at Field Day festival on June 8: the group’s only London date this summer. Runners-up can also grab themselves one of ten additional goody bags.
The Pixies are comprised of Black Francis (vocals, rhythm guitar), Joey Santiago (lead guitar) and David Lovering (drums, backing vocals). Indie Cindy – formed from the band’s three recently released EPs alongside initial single ‘Bagboy’ and produced by long-time collaborator Gil Norton – is available from April 19 on limited edition vinyl, and April 28 on vinyl, CD and digital download on Pixiesmusic.
