Pink says her latest music promo made her mother feel "uncomfortable".

The controversial singer admits her mom was lost for words after seeing her performance in the promo for her new single Try.

Try is the second track to be released from Pink's number one album The Truth About Love.

"My mom, after seeing the new video... 'Wow, honey. I'm speechless. And uncomfortable. No one can ever say you play it safe.' Thanks, mama:) (sic)" Pink tweeted.

The video is set for worldwide release today. It was directed by Floria Sigismondi and includes stunt and aerial choreography for trapeze scenes that Pink performs with dancer Colt Prattes. The story is inspired by the Apache Dance.

Pink clearly can’t wait for the video's release.

"So excited!!!!!!! New Video for TRY ---- out tomorrow at 6 am eastern time!!!!!!!!!!(sic)” Pink excitedly revealed on Twitter.

The star previously explained that shooting Try was an unforgettable experience.

"Making this video was the most fun I’ve ever had in my entire career," Pink said. "I never wanted it to end. It’s my favourite video ever."
