Pharrell Williams would consider working with One Direction.
The musician and the British boyband both appear in BBC Music charity single God Only Knows.
After having a taste of being on the same track, the 41-year-old admits he would be happy to collaborate with the five-piece.
"I would work with them; what's the worst that can happen?" he mused to BBC Radio 1 host Nick Grimshaw.
"[If it was] something we don't think is good, we won't put it out. There's ways to deal with that... There's ways to work it out, even if I have to step away because I don't consider it my work anymore, that's fine."
It's been an incredible run of success for the singer-and-producer, who appeared on Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines and is behind smash hit Happy.
He's put his name to countless tracks, but wouldn't change anything.
"Every song is another piece in the mosaic. I couldn't say one song was more integral, it's hard for me to be objective. It's like taking a link out of a chain. I try to just do things that jolt me in different emotional directions," he explained.
Alongside his music, the star has become known for his style and has several clothing collaborations on the go. His name is synonymous with funky headgear, with a Vivienne Westwood hat he wore even inspiring its own Twitter page. It's this kind of support from fans that overwhelms Pharrell.
"This ride has shown me the people do this; when they support something it changes," he marvelled.
"I never felt this before because I was producing and writing for other people, so I didn't feel it. You gotta find a wave and ride it."
