Katy Perry is reportedly celebrating her birthday in Morocco.
The Dark Horse singer will become 30 years old on October 25.
And according to Us Weekly, she touched down in Morocco’s capital city, Marrakesh, earlier this week in order to commence her birthday celebration, which will last for several days.
Earlier on Wednesday, The Hollywood Reporter claimed Katy cancelled her original plans to party in Egypt due to “safety reasons”.
Should her prior agenda have moved forward, she would’ve been “taking a cruise on the Nile River in Egypt and dressing up like Cleopatra” surrounded by friends and family, according to E! Online.
Katy has had a number of her most prized birthday wishes come true this week.
On October 19, the songstress took to Twitter to make a special request from a specific pizza chain store, writing to her over 58 million followers: “All I want for my birthday is my name on the Shakey's Pizza marquee on Santa Monica Blvd. Please”.
The next day, Katy revealed her wish was fulfilled by one of her best friends, Sophia Rossi.
The pop star tweeted an image of a Shakey’s Pizza which had “Happy Birthday Katy Perry From Sophia” written on the restaurant billboard, writing excitedly: "KICKING OFF BIRTHDAY WEEK RIGHT! This signage is a bucket list dream come true!!! SHOUT OUT TO ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS FOR KILLING THE GIFT GAME @rivfifi."
It’s believed Katy will travel to South Africa and France next as part of her birthday travelling extravaganza.
