Katy Perry was reportedly spotted flirting with Diplo at Coachella.
The 29-year-old Dark Horse singer attended the annual California music festival over the weekend.
And apparently the newly-single star appeared more than happy to get close with EDM producer Diplo at the Jeremy Scott and Adidas party held in Palm Springs Saturday night.
“[Diplo] was hanging out with Katy pretty much the whole night,” a source told Radar Online. “They’ve been friends forever, [but] it definitely looked like more than that! At one point he even had his arms around her.”
Later on during the event, it’s claimed a drunken fan decided to throw herself all over Diplo, real name Thomas Wesley Pentz.
Katy was purportedly having none of it and demanded the woman be removed from the premises.
“Katy had the girl thrown out!” the insider detailed.
“She was yelling and kind of upset about it. The girl didn’t have a wristband and was a total sloppy party crasher, but still, it was kind of surprising.”
It’s rumoured Diplo and Katy spent the evening together Sunday checking out performances by Lana Del Rey and Krewella.
Katy recently ended her relationship with fellow musician John Mayer after dating on and off since 2012. The songstress is also a divorcée, officially ending her brief marriage to British comedian Russell Brand a few months before beginning her relationship with John.
The singer is said to feel her relationships with John and her ex-husband Russell were both highly toxic, and she is now focusing solely on her upcoming Prismatic World Tour.
"Katy will not let romance derail her life right now,” a source told People magazine recently. "She is happy being single. She has a fantastic career, a ton of friends and is generally happy with things."
