Perez Hilton has congratulated Louis Tomlinson on his rumoured impending fatherhood.
News broke yesterday that the One Direction hunk is expecting a child with Los Angeles-based stylist Briana Jungwirth, who he has been spotted hanging out with following his split from ex-girlfriend Eleanor Calder in March.
Neither have confirmed the claims yet but that hasn't stopped people from sharing their reactions. Blogger and TV personality Perez was one of those who joined in the commentary as he tracked down a tweet from 2012 in which Louis made an April Fool's joke that he was going to be a dad.
"@Louis_Tomlinson Congrats!!!! (sic)" Perez wrote on Twitter as a reply to the three-year-old post.
He also posted a link to an article on his blog in which he captured some of the best reaction tweets. Many were humorous, with one user called @97sCAMINAH joking she has "lost all ability to function", while @itsmyan refused to believe Louis got a girl who wasn't her pregnant.
However some fans were left devastated by the news, with @beluhtejeda writing: " LOUIS TOMLINSON IS GOING TO BE A FATHER IM SO CONFUSED WHAT IS THIS (sic)"
While it may come as a shock, insiders report that the singer is thrilled about becoming a father. It's even thought Brit Louis is looking for a new pad in Los Angeles to be closer to the mother of his baby.
“Louis is happy and very excited about becoming a dad and he thinks Briana will be an amazing mother,” a source told People magazine. “It was a surprise at first, but he and Briana are very, very close friends and this has brought them even closer.”
One of the reasons Louis is said to like Briana so much is because the blonde beauty isn't interested in his fame and keeps her personal life to herself, though things will soon change with the arrival of the baby.
