Paul Stanley has entered another decade as, today, he turns 60. The Kiss founder was greeted by salutes from his bandmates.
Paul is actually the last of the original members to reach his 60s. Ace Frehley turned 60 last April, Gene Simmons is 62 and Peter Criss is 66.
At the Kiss website, the guys in the current band have dropped the following messages:
Paul, my very best wishes on your birthday. You're the brother I never had. You're always been there. For me. For the band. For the fans.
Happy Birthday Paul! You're a great friend & a brother in arms.. We just made a kick-ass album together and had a great time doing it. You are THE rock & roll champion! Happy 60th!!
Paul Stanley, Happy Birthday to the Grand Master of Ceremonies! Your still the best and I wish you only better days ahead.
Paul Stanley was always the pop star to Simmons rock star. He was lead singer on the band's biggest hit I Was Made For Loving You.
Kiss have just wrapped up work on their 20th studio album Monster due to be released mid-year. The album was recorded in Hollywood with Stanley co-producing the record with Greg Collins.
The album features Stanley, Simmons, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer. Confirmed tracks include Hell or Hallelujah, Born To Be A Sinner, Out Of This World, Are You Ready, Wall Of Sound, It's a Long Way Down, Back To The Stone Age and Shout Mercy.
