Online Music Awards opens for nominations

Online Music Awards launched in 2011 and pride themselves on celebrating and rewarding unsigned talent. Nominations are now being taken for the 2nd Annual ceremony and to be considered, all nominees must be unsigned to a major label and submit original material.

Online Music Awards' team will select five final nominees for each of the six categories presented. Winners will be announced in October 2012 with the public voting element starting in the summer. The general public can nominate their favourite unsigned bands and artists via www.onlinemusicawards.org.

Online Music Awards celebrate and reward unsigned talent and all elements including nominations, voting, awards presentation and acceptances take place online.

War Child has been announced as the 'Official charity partner' for the awards and will have a significant presence via the official website - www.onlinemusicawards.org. Category sponsors have also been revealed in the form of SanDisk (Best Rock Act Sponsor), Blue Microphones (Best Urban Act Sponsor) & Bio Synergy (Best Dance Act sponsor).

In addition, all category sponsors will be contributing to the official 'prize package' that each of the six winners receive. Online Music Awards promise more news in the coming weeks!
