With preparations for this year's Ibiza International Music Summit now in the final stages, the most highly anticipated IMS yet will once again take place at the impressive 5* Ibiza Gran Hotel. With the main guests and speakers having already been announced, this week will see the unveiling of the full schedule, with more panels and International speakers than ever before and a whole week of events and parties at some of Ibiza's most famous locations.

Today though, we focus on one of this year's very special guests, a true star, an iconic front man and someone who undoubtedly paved the way for future generations to embrace dance music and take it to the level it is today. We are, of course, talking about NILE RODGERS, the main man from the amazing 70's disco pioneers CHIC - and also recent collaborator with French modern heroes DAFT PUNK on their new album project.

With Nile heading up this year's list of high-profile KEYNOTE INTERVIEWS (others include DIPLO, PAUL OAKENFOLD and LUCIANO), the New York musician/producer will be in residence to discuss his epic journey in music. From starting as a sessions guitarist in the 60's working with some of the biggest names at the time, to forming Chic with Bernard Edwards in 1970. Going on to release timeless chart-topping hits such as 'Le Freak', 'Good Times', 'I Want Your Love', 'Everybody Dance' and many more, to producing artists such as David Bowie, Madonna, Duran Duran, INXS and Mick Jagger (to name but a few) throughout the 80's/90's - NILE RODGERS has been at the helm of the some of the most exciting and decade defining music of the past 40+ years.

A true legend of music, a hall of famer and an artist who continues to push the boundaries musically, expect this year's album project with DAFT PUNK to be a hot topic!
