Nicole Scherzinger is furious that she’s portrayed as a “man-eater” and not a “classy girl”.
The singer split from her long-term boyfriend Lewis Hamilton earlier this year. Since then she’s been linked to several other men, including Steve Jones and Derek Hough.
Nicole is tired of hearing so much speculation about her private life.
“It’s not a compliment, it annoys me. I’m a very classy girl, [because of] the way my mother raised me I have very strong morals. I come from a Catholic family and I have a very strong faith,” she told Look magazine.
“I’ve only dated a few men in my life [and then I] read the news that I’ve got a new guy every week. It makes me look like I’m easily distracted or that any guy can have me. I’m not like that. I’m not a man-eater, I’m quite the opposite. I take it personally and get frustrated and upset about it. What do they take me for?”
After a picture of Nicole and Lewis looking awkward as they hugged in Los Angeles was made public, he admitted he is still in love with the singer.
Nicole feels the same way and is sad they weren’t able to make things work. She isn’t looking for a new romance at the moment, explaining one thing that makes moving on hard is how attractive Lewis is.
“It’s hard because I still think Lewis is one of the most beautiful people I’ve ever seen in my life, he’s perfect looking,” she explained.
“But I don’t base any relationship on looks, it comes from the heart and soul first. If you really love someone, you fall in love with their looks.”
