Nicole Scherzinger is determined to “reconnect” with her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton over Christmas.
Both stars have been busy with individual projects this year, but have made time to jet off to Hawaii for the festive season.
Insiders are claiming the romantic getaway could actually be an attempt to re-ignite their relationship.
“Nicole really wants to reconnect with Lewis while they’re in Hawaii. Her [work] commitments took over her life during the last few months, so she’s looking forward to some proper time with him – and to working out where they go from there,” a source revealed to British Star magazine.
“It is pretty make-or-break though – it could go either way, because Lewis’ racing takes him all over the world which is really not ideal.”
Over the past few months 34-year-old Nicole has worked hard as a judge on the UK X Factor, getting two of her contestants to the final of the talent show.
Formula One racing driver Lewis has also been busy and Nicole is apparently worried the 27-year-old isn’t thinking about their future.
“They can’t go on as they did this year. It’s not workable in the long-term,” the insider added.
“She is not getting any younger, and does want a family, so she needs to know where she stands.”
