Nicole Kidman says her daughters have a “cute mix” of accents.

The actress raises Faith and Sunday with husband Keith Urban and also has two older, adopted children Isabella and Connor from her marriage to Tom Cruise.

The 45-year-old explained her two youngest can sometimes be a little hard to understand, as a result of her family moving around a lot and the Australian influence from their parents.

"They were both born in Nashville, and we live in Tennessee now," she explained to TV host Ellen DeGeneres.

"They have a mix of Australian and Southern [accents], which is really cute, but my mama always says, 'I can't understand her,' because...she says, 'Hey, y'all!' to her grandparents."

Keith is a successful country singer and has joined the judging panel for the new season of American Idol.

Nicole really appreciates her husband’s artistic qualities and the entertainment it provides for their family.

"The great thing about being married to a musician... is you have music in the house all the time. There is something very joyful about having music. Because Keith can play pretty much any instrument, he'll just play piano at 7am in the morning...Breakfast around the piano is very much a part of our life,” she smiled.

The couple met at Hollywood event G’Day LA in 2005 and they married a year later.

The Moulin Rouge! star joked they both remember their first meeting a little differently.

"We have different perspectives on it. I'm like, 'You didn't love me at first sight. You didn't notice me!' And he's like, 'Yes, I did, but I just didn't let on.' But we kind of met and then about four months later he called me...That's a long time. He said he had other things he had to take care of. Guys, right?"
