Nick Jonas likes getting compliments from older ladies.
Since leaving The Jonas Brothers last year, when siblings Nick, Kevin and Joe disbanded, the 22-year-old has shed his childish image and now rocks a much more grown-up look.
As well as bulking up for his role as MMA fighter Nate on TV show Kingdom, Nick has been showing off his hard work by posing for magazines. A raunchy shoot for Flaunt magazine saw the internet go wild for the shirtless, crotch-grabbing photos and Nick’s still receiving flattering remarks.
“I was at a basketball game the other day and a few older ladies came up to me and said, ‘I love the new song!’ And then they go, ‘And we love the shoot, as well!’ That was an added compliment,” Nick smiled to New York Post.
Nick recently received the exciting news that his new track Jealous has gone platinum after selling one minion copies, and he feels he’s come out of his shell more in recent months.
The star is also loved up with Miss Universe winner Olivia Culpo, but confesses he’s not immune to pangs of jealousy.
He has a string of famous exes too, including Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez, but says his current beau is the real thing.
“I think earlier on in my relationship, there were times where I would get jealous.
“I think with time and trust built up, a lot of that went away. We have a really strong relationship now. It takes a second until you feel really locked in with someone,” he added.
