Nick Jonas has been added to the cast of Ryan Murphy’s Scream Queens.

The 22-year-old will take on a recurring role in the forthcoming Fox horror-comedy, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Scream Queens is the latest project between Ryan and Brad Falchuk, the creators of Glee and American Horror Story.

The new series has lined up an all-star cast so far, with Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Ariana Grande, Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Keke Palmer and Joe Manganiello all making appearances.

Scream Queens’ first season is set on a college campus where a series of bizarre murders take place. The highly anticipated show, which has 15 episodes and runs one hour long, will debut on TV in the fall.

Nick has been making a number of career moves recently, having split from his family band The Jonas Brothers in 2013.

His second studio album, entitled Nick Jonas, was released in November 2014 and it debuted at number six on the Billboard 200 chart.

He has previously spoken about how important it is for him to transform his Disney star image into something more mature.

“I feel really good about it all,” Nick told Entertainment Weekly. “I feel like it came pretty naturally over the course of three or four years. Over those years, I wasn’t as predominantly in the public eye as I am at this moment, which was by choice in a lot of ways. Just taking time for me to grow and figure out who I am as an artist and a performer and a writer. Taking time and coming to a place where I’m comfortable, and ready for this next step. It’s been pretty insane to be bold like that and try to push myself.”
