Neil Young performed a secret show with Willie Nelson’s sons last Thursday night and performed a stack of new songs.
The show on Thursday night at the SLO Brewing Company in San Luis Obispo, California began and finished with some old songs but what was in between was unknown to the audience.
Young threw in the occasion recognisable song like ‘Down By The River’, ‘Walk In’, ‘Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere’ and ‘Love and Only Love’ and he did end with ‘Roll Another Number’ but for the most part nine of the songs were songs he had never played live before.
The show was Neil Young’s first live appearance in 2015. It is unknown at this stage if the show was to road-test songs for a new album with The Nelson Brothers.
