Narrow Plains have been crowned winner of Hard Rock Rising London. The acoustic, London trio, who beat Edit/Select and Sophie Debattista in a rockin’ final will now go on to represent Hard Rock Cafe London in the Hard Rock Rising global battle of the bands competition.
Hard Rock Rising is the world’s largest and most far-reaching battle of the bands competition. Thousands of emerging local bands in the capitol registered to take part in Hard Rock Rising London and seven were chosen to compete for the chance to be crowned Hard Rock Rising London champion. Over the past month, those seven bands have competed in two preliminary battles, which culminated in a brilliant final battle last night and Narrow Plains were names victorious.
Narrow Plains said this about winning the Hard Rock Rising London final: “We are really honoured to be chosen out of so many great acts by the prestigious panel of judges. We thoroughly enjoyed playing at such an iconic venue. Many thanks to all our friends, fans and followers for all their amazing support!”
Following the incredible exciting final, the next stage of the Hard Rock Rising competition will see a panel of industry experts review all the bands that have won their local Hard Rock Rising battle. Of all the local winners from around the world, including Narrow Plains, five will be chosen to perform at a final, live battle of the bands at Hard Rock Cafe Barcelona in July ahead of the Hard Rock Barcelona Music Festival.
The band crowned champion of the final battle will be Hard Rock Rising’s 2015 overall winner and perform to a thousands-strong crowd at the fantastic Hard Rock Barcelona Music Festival on 24 – 25 July 2015.
