Mandy Moore’s pets get “in between” her and husband Ryan Adams.

The 30-year-old So Real singer has four house cats, two dogs and three outside felines. And while she is an animal lover, the star admits having so many running around can be an obstacle.

"There's no way to have a connection with my husband because there are always animals in between [us]!" she laughed to US Weekly.

Mandy married Ryan, 39, in 2009 in Savannah, Georgia. Fortunately, he loves their pets just as much as his wife.

“I'm a big animal advocate and lover," she told the publication. "I'm lucky to be married to somebody who feels the same way. We have our own little zoo happening right now.”

The couple, who began seeing each other in 2008, didn’t wait until they were married to start expanding their family.

“We adopted our dog, Joni, when we were dating," the Tangled voice actress explained. "She's the apple of my eye. A total momma's girl."

Mandy and Adam later adopted cats Theo and Vincent and dog Jackson. The most recent addition to the Moore-Adams household is two more cats, named Maddie and Addison.

"We also have three feral cats that are living in our backyard,” the performer added.

The A Walk to Remember actress and her musician husband, who has produced albums for Fall Out Boy and Willie Nelson, are dedicated to animal welfare.

Mandy joined forces with Purina Cat Chow’s Building Better Lives campaign, which has provided $250,000 to cat shelters in need across the US.

"It doesn't matter what you look like, what kind of day you had or what you do, they're always going to be there and love you unconditionally," she previously told Healthy Hollywood.
