Christina Milian has confirmed her new song is about boyfriend Lil Wayne.
The 33-year-old singer is currently preparing to release her new track Rebel. And after months of speculation, Christina has revealed she penned the song about her new beau.
“It’s safe to say it is about the man in my life, yes,” Christina told Entertainment Tonight. “There’s nothing better than that feeling of new chemistry when you’re so into someone and you could care less about what anyone else thinks… and there’s butterflies! It’s a real feeling that people experience.”
The mother-of-one only recently confirmed that she is “in love” with the 32-year-old rapper, during a radio interview.
However, Christina opened up further about the depth of her feelings for her beau to ET, admitting she is stunned by just how strong they are.
“For me, I’m so inspired by the relationship that I’m in that it’s definitely an experience,” she said. “It’s that careless, hopeless, romantic love – that feeling of ‘I will do anything for you’ and it’s just incredible and so yea, ‘rebel for you’ means ‘I’m all about you.’ ”
Christina is mother to five-year-old daughter Violet with ex-husband The-Dream. And despite her former marriage not having worked out, Christina says she hasn’t ruled out walking down the aisle again in the future.
“You never know, I mean, love does inspire beautiful things like that,” she continued. “I don’t put too much pressure on one thing but I’m just living freely with him and we’re both very happy. I feel like if you don’t put too much expectations and too much high-hopes into things then everything will fall into place.”
