Michael Jackson’s hit song This Is It is the subject of a new lawsuit.

An alleged music producer who claims he worked on the hit track is suing the late singer’s estate for $24 million, TMZ reports.

Michael Jackson’s collaborator Paul Anka is also named in the suit.

The plaintiff, Michael Jonzun, filed documents in Massachusetts federal court.

He claims he helped to remake Paul and Michael’s original 1983 song I Never Heard into the 2009 hit This Is It.

Jonzun also alleges he owns one-third of the track but was never awarded his share.

Paul Anka has meanwhile denied the claims.

The music producer told the website he never heard the name Michael Jonzun before the lawsuit was filed, calling any claims to the contrary “BS”.

Michael died of acute Propofol intoxication at his Los Angeles home in June 2009.

A spokesman for the late singer’s estate has yet to comment on the report.
