Michael Bublé and his wife have announced they are having a baby.
The Canadian singer and Argentine actress-and-model Luisana Lopilato chose a fun way to share their happy news, by posting a video on Luisana’s website this morning.
The clip opened with the words, “Mike, Lu and… mini Bublé!!!” before footage of an ultrasound baby scan flashed up, followed by the sound of people cheering in the background as “We are having a mini Bublé!!!” came on the screen.
Michael has previously revealed he has been looking forward to becoming a father for the first time.
The 37-year-old crooner explained that he felt a little “jealous” that so many of his close friends had already started families.
Michael also made no secret of the fact he and Luisana had been thinking about having children themselves and had even discussed possible baby names.
“I think [Luisana] wants me to name the kids after the Twilight characters, which is not going to happen,” he joked. “I came up with some hypothetical names... but she came up with… Bella Bublé.”
Shortly before the Christmas holidays, Michael revealed he was eager to spend more quality time with his stunning 25-year-old wife and hinted there were great things to come in 2013.
“This year it will be amazing! [I know that] because I am really excited already," he smiled.
Michael and Luisana got engaged in November 2009 and tied the knot in Buenos Aires in 2011.
