Chris Martin has reportedly “fallen hard” for Jennifer Lawrence.
Chris, 37, and Jennifer, 24, first started dating two months ago, raising eyebrows with the age difference between them.
But the Coldplay frontman is said to be so smitten with The Hunger Games actress that he is now planning to introduce her to his two children Apple and Moses.
“Chris has fallen hard for Jen, and they are having a lot of fun together,” a source told RadarOnline.
“It’s happened very fast, and it’s extremely intense. Apple and Moses haven’t met their dad’s girlfriend, yet. Chris hasn’t been discussing the relationship with Gwyneth, out of respect.”
However, Chris’ decision to make the introduction is said to have shocked his estranged wife Gwyneth Paltrow, who apparently thinks things are moving slightly too fast.
But the singer apparently is keen for Apple, nine, and eight-year-old Moses to meet the person who has had such an important impact on his life.
“Gwyneth was absolutely stunned when Chris told her he wants to introduce the kids to Jennifer,” the source added.
“It won’t be happening right away, Chris wants to make sure this relationship is going to just fizzle out before taking such a big step. He sees this relationship going the distance.”
However, Gwyneth, who Chris was married to for ten years, is said to be comfortable with his new relationship.
“Her take is, 'Hey, he could do worse," a source told Us Weekly. "She just wants him to be happy."
Jennifer was recently pictured supporting Chris at a Coldplay concert in Los Angeles.
